William Romaine Newbold's annotations, in black and red ink, in the margins of a published copy of The ethics of Aristotle, edited, with an introduction and notes by John Burnet (London: Methuen & Co., 1900). An inscription on the front flyleaf reads: W. Romaine Newbold, Univ. of Penn., Phila., Purchased in Liverpool, Sept. 24, 1910. Newbold's name is also inscribed at the back (p. 502).
